Colossians 3:5-6, Paul was stressing the need for total repentance(biblically meaning - an inner change of mind resulting in an outward turning away from sin to move towards God and righteousness.
For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God(Romans 3:23).
Paul warns us that if we don't live by God's standard (righteousness)-we are bound to face his (God's) wrath -(colosians 3:6) never the less , we should not rely on our works , but but we should move on to seek God's grace Through his son Jesus -(Romans 4:3-8). Some one could be asking how do i seek God's grace through Jesus , well - by accepting him as your savior today, he will come into your life n i want to assure you that if u will cling to him u will realize a shift for the better in yo life.
The joy of the lord is to see a people obedient to his instruction-to his word , I've heard people for a long time quote this saying '' Experience is the best teacher '' { but let me put it this way - the christian way -In the beginning God created the world and placed man there n because he loved him(man) so much he gave him instructions to live by because he knew what the consequence for every action would be , remember the bible also says God has and has always had a good plan for mankind according to Jeremiah 29:11 - that good plan is to bring every man to salvation but the decision is yours , HE says so in Deuteronomy 30:19.

Repent and be born again! Jesus stressed this in John 3:3 '' most assuredly i say unto you , unless one is born again he cannot enter the kingdom of heaven. So brethren you ought to make yourself right with God and surely the only way there is - is to believe Jesus and acknowledge him as Savior and Lord of your life. ACTS 4:12 , shows us that there is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved .
