We can see alot of wrong every where we look and its set to get worse as we progressively turn away from God each day.Devastations like earth quakes , floods and the Tsunami you just saw in the news of recent hitting so badly a nation every one thought was most prepared .
However , while Leviticus 26 and Deuteronomy 28 warn of dire judgement on disobedience , the same chapters call for repentance , a national and individual turning away from sin .Notice Leviticus 26:40-45 , '' But if they confess their iniquity(sins) and the iniquity of their fathers ....then i will remember My covenant with Jacob ...for their sake i will remember the covenant of their ancestors (in faith) , whom i brought out of the land of Egypt in the sight of the nations , that i might be their God''.
This promise is beautifully echoed in 2 Chronicles 7:14, '' If My people who are called by my name will humble themselves , and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways , then i will hear from heaven , and i will forgive their sin and heal their land.
Our nations are unlikely to change before the return of Christ to this earth - BUT YOU CAN.
God '' now commands all men every where to repent '' . (Acts 17:30) .
Follow this admonition in Philipians 2:12 ''to work out your own salvation with fear and trembling''.

My Lord and my God , have mercy upon my soul , a sinner ; I believe that Jesus Christ is the son of the living God (John 3:16).I believe that he died on the cross and shed his precious blood for the forgiveness of of all my sins (Luke 23:33). I believe that God raised Jesus from the dead by the power of the Holy spirit and that he sits on the right hand of God at this moment , Hearing my confession of sin and this prayer .
I open up the door of my heart and i invite you into my heart , Lord Jesus , wash all my filthy sins away in the precious blood that you shed in my place on the cross at Calvary .You will not turn me away , you will forgive my sins and save my soul because your word says so.
I know that you've heard me , i know that you've answered me and i know that am saved . Thank you Jesus for saving my soul.
