YOU CAN SPEAK TO YOUR WORLD !

I wrote an article where I gave a testimony of one of our members that applied the Word: she spoke the Word of God to her leg and she received instant healing.  I want to bring you a biblical illustration of this same thing in the earthly life of Jesus.

Mark 11:13-14 Verse13: And seeing a fig tree afar off having leaves, he came, if haply he might find any thing thereon: and when he came to it, he found nothing but leaves; for the time of figs was not yet.
Verse14: “And Jesus answered and said unto it, No man eat fruit of thee hereafter for ever. And his disciples heard [it].”

Notice that this verse says that Jesus “answered” this fig tree. The tree had not spoken to Him verbally but it had communicated that it had figs by the leaves on the tree. Why would Jesus curse this fig tree? The scripture gives no explanation of this. However, it is a fact that a fig tree should have figs by the time the leaves come up. The fig tree actually produces green figs before the leaves appear and if no figs are produced by that time, then that tree will not have any figs that year. Therefore, this fig tree was professing something that it didn’t have even though it was still too early for figs. It was hypocritical.

Not only plants, but other things can communicate with us, too. Circumstances can tell you that you have failed. Your body can tell you that your prayer didn’t work–the Lord didn’t heal you, etc. You need to follow Jesus’ example and answer these things with a positive statement of your faith. Jesus was not only having trees talk to Him, but He was also talking to them. Jesus also encouraged us to speak to mountains (Mark. 11:23) or to whatever our problem might be.

God created the heavens and the earth and everything that is in the earth by His words (Hebrews. 11:3). The whole creation was made by and responds to words. Our words, when spoken in faith, release either life or death (Proverbs. 18:21) and will affect people, things, and circumstances. We can release the power that is in faith by our words, as Jesus went on to explain to His disciples (read Mark. 11:23 -24).

Jesus said we should speak to the mountain, or our problem. Most people speak to God about their problem but few follow Jesus’ instructions and speak directly to the “mountain.” God has put certain things under our authority and we must exercise it. When a problem stands in our way, we must speak to the problem and command it to get out of our way in the name of Jesus and it will always go. Thank you Jesus!
